    Hey guys,

It's time to take you back to a WRESTLEMANIA Moment from 15 years ago this spring

WRESTLEMANIA 13 LIVE from Rosemont, IL

It was the night that Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin fought in a Submission Match

It was the night where L.O.D. and Ahmed Johnson fought the Nation of Domination in a 6-Man Tag Team Chicago Street Fight

But it was @ the end of the night where the Main Event saw the WWE Heavyweight Championship defended once again @ WRESTLEMANIA 13

Sid Eudy better known as Sid Vicious was a 2x WWE Heavyweight Champion

@ Survivor Series '96 @ Madison Square Garden, he def. The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels to win his 1st WWE Heavyweight Championship before HBK regained the title @ the 10th Annual WWE Royal Rumble in 1997, but then Sid regained the title on RAW on USA Network on February 17, 1997 the night after In Your House 13: Final Four

But 34 days later, Sid defended the WWE Heavyweight Championship @ WRESTLEMANIA 13 against a man that he knows so well

His former Tag Team Partner from The Skyscrapers-Mark William Calaway better known as The Deadman himself, The Undertaker

It was a No Disqualification Match where it was Title vs. Streak

Shawn Michaels provided commentary for the match

The then-heel superstar, Bret Hart, came out during the match and insulted Undertaker, Michaels and particularly Sid because he claimed that Sid had screwed him out of the title. Sid powerbombed Hart while Undertaker took advantage and began attacking the champion from behind. Undertaker went for an Old School but Sid took him in a bearhug. Sid attacked Undertaker with various moves and attacked him with television monitors, and applied a camel clutch on Undertaker. Sid had the advantage in the match until Hart came back and attacked Sid with a steel chair. He recovered and got Undertaker in the powerbomb but Hart returned again and distracted Sid which allowed Undertaker to hit Sid with the Tombstone and win the match.

and as a result, The Undertaker def. Sid Vicious to win the WWE Heavyweight Championship for a 2nd time within 5 1/4 years and not only that, The Undertaker took his Wrestlemania Record to 6-0

It would also be the last time the Sid Vicious held the WWE Heavyweight Championship, but almost 3 years later in 2000, Sid Vicious would win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Kevin Nash in January 2000 on WCW Monday NITRO on TNT and again 2 years later on WCW Thunder on TBS SuperStation

and now, 15 years later, Sid is now wrestling in the Indies, The Undertaker took his Wrestlemania Streak to a record 20-0 when he def. Triple H inside Hell in a Cell with Shawn Michaels as the Special Guest Referee and Bret Hart still makes appearances on WWE Television

and as for the WWE Heavyweight Championship, it is now around the waist of CM Punk and Rosemont, IL will be the place for this year's WWE Extreme Rules and this event took place 1 week after WCW Uncensored '97 where Dean Malenko won the WCW U.S. Heavyweight Championship in a No Disqualification Match against Future WWE Heavyweight Champion the late Eddie Guerrero

This is the Wrestlemania that Shawn Michaels screwed up when he lost his smile.

So after Shawn vacated, Vince put the belt on Bret, to then get it on Sid, to then get in on Taker at the actual WM event. You see in those days Vince didn't like heels winning the main event at Wrestlemania.... so wanted to book a crowd pleasing Taker win (a heel winning a WM main event didn't happen till Triple H in 2000)

That said the Taker vs Sid match was horrible..... and surely Vince must have known it would be putting these two together

A Shawn-Bret rematch from WM12 could have been great (without the Iron Man rules) but then again Austin vs Bret is an all time favourite and Wrestlemania classic,a nd we wouldnt have had that if Shawn went ahead with the original plans.
