And here is the WWE.com list again! Think we did a better job? Lets look at some differences

Obviously we have Hogan and Flair (the Ying & Yang) of pro modern wrestling within our top 3 spots.... and obviosult WWE are not forgiving them for joining TNA with their lower selections for them! TNA probably being the reason why they ignored Kurt Angle.
Jeff Hardy and Batista (we gave him no votes) fail to make our 100
Edge, Moolah, Pat Patterson, Blassie, Randy Orton, Gorilla, JYD, Big Show, Mysterio, Jack Briscoe, Iron Sheik and Sgt Slaughter all fail to make our top 50 but do scrape in the top 100.
The WWE list fails to recognise several Mexican/Japanese greats that we include, such as Inoki, El Santo, Mascaras, Misawa and Rikodoazan

    1. Shawn Michaels
    2. The Undertaker
    3. Steve Austin
    4. Bret Hart
    5. The Rock
    6. Harley Race
    7. Ricky Steamboat
    8. Andre the Giant
    9. Rey Mysterio

    14. "Macho Man" Randy Savage
    15. "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig

    19. Edge
    20. Jerry "The King" Lawler
    21. Lou Thesz
    22. Terry Funk
    23. Hulk Hogan
    24. Bruno Sammartino
    25. Chris Jericho

The OWW list is more creditible and more of an international list as WWE is just wrestlers that have worked for them at one time or another.

I'm still trying to figure out how Ultimate Warrior even made the Top 100?

I was putting the finishing touches on my list this morning when I saw the thread was closed : ( I too as most of you had Hulk Hogan #1 and Steve Austin #2. I think what we can conclude from this discussion and putting together of lists is that : A. When WWE puts anything historical together you can just pretty much write it off as bogus and agenda driven ; and B. We can agree to disagree on positioning, who's in and out etc., but one thing is clear : Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin , love them or hate them, are two of the greatest superstars in the history of wrestling. No one can take that away from them and that includes Vince McMahon !!!

Yeah, he sucked but he was a huge star for the WWF - I think his position is justified.

Upon reflection, I missed Jushin Liger, Billy Graham and a few others from my list. But overall, I'm pretty happy with mine and the OWW one.

I've always felt that the Rock was a bigger superstar than Steve Austin. True that Austin was at the forefront of the Attitude era, but other than Bret Hart and Mr. McMahon, it was the Rock that put Austin over in 2 out of 3 of their WrestleMania matches. The Rock lost more matches to wrestlers from Big Show, Austin, HHH to Billy Gunn, Al Snow to Hardcore Holly, and amazingly it didn't hurt the Rock's image. The Rock has shown up to Raw unannounced and the crowd would go mental. From protagonist, to antagonist, from mighty to vulnerable, from losing the World Title to Kurt Angle, HHH, Chris Jericho, Steve Austin, Brock Lesner, to conquering Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Mick Foley, the Rock mastered it all. You can only get a few 'moments' out of giving everyone the stunner before it comes too old, and there are somethings that certain superstars won't do in fear of looking weak, and the Rock was never that person. Now that's a superstar.

Because he was the biggest star wwe had between 88-91 perhaps? he took over hulkamania and like him or not he was a huge star thats what this list was about in my eyes STAR POWER IN THE WWE. I can see OWW went international stars but when I made my list I thought we were spose to make a WWE list because we were boycotting theirs.

As a kid of the 80's, you were either 2 things; a Hulkamaniac or a Little Warrior. My childhood was yellow singlets, bandanas and face paint, bright arm bands galore!

Big Sexy places at #90 and his tag along finishes 30 spots ahead of him. Unreal. I'm kind of surprised at some of the names on the list (well, more surprised at certain wrestlers being higher than others). OWW's top 5 is pretty good though

Cuz Kid, you can walk up to some random person on the street say hey chico you remember Razor Ramon? and 8/10 are gonna say oh hell yeah. You walk up to a random on the street and say hey remember Diesel and maybe 4/10 will be like oh yeah Kevin Nash. I think alot just has to do with the catchyness of Razor Ramon.

Remember people this list has nothing tho do with talent its about knowing who these guys are thats what SUPERSTAR means. and in the talent department Razor out ranks Nash anyway.

I think a list like this should be more about in ring ability as opposed to popularity.

I reckon 8 out of 10 people don't even watch wrestling let alone know who Razor is. If it's about knowing who these guys are then why would Randy Orton be at 92 and Ultimo Dragon at 83? Dragon is one of the best I've ever seen but he's not as well known as Orton is.

I think the list is inconsistent, but that's just my view.

Come on Kash, Kevin Nash was never going to feature in a high spot.
If you would have voted its a cert he would have sneaked up a few places

It would be no different to others on here putting their favourites in. I am just pointing out the inconsistency of your list

I dont htink Eddie Guerrero was at the top long enough to justify his position so high on this list. Yes, I think Eddie was great, I just think that he spent 90% of his career in the midcard and that maybe his death has inflated our opinion of him a little bit.

I agree, Eddie at best was realistically an upper midcarder. I also speculate that the reason behind Eddie's high listing has to do with his WWE stint rather than his overall career, but even with the recognition of what he accomplished in NJPW, ECW and WCW, it doesn't make him stand out as a 'superstar' rather more as an accomplished pro wrestler.
