Just finished Dexter season 5 last night. Wasn't as good as the first 4, but it wasn't bad at all. I think I was expecting too much, I let hopes get the best of me.
Just started watching The Pacific last night and currently in the middle of watching season 4 of Breaking Bad.
What are you watching?
THE PRESIDENT HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED BY NINJAS!
Just finished Dexter season 5 last night. Wasn't as good as the first 4, but it wasn't bad at all. I think I was expecting too much, I let hopes get the best of me.
Just finished the first episode of season 2 of Mad Men. Good show. I've been watching The Larry Sanders Show off-and-on recently as well.
Recently bought all 5 seasons of the X-Men animated series on DVD. Great throwback to my childhood.

Currently working my way through Season 4 of the Big Bang Theory on DVD
Marathoning The Walking Dead right now (on ep 4, Vatos), leading into the season 2 opener (I'm gonna catch the 10:30 replay). Good times, good times.

Ive been working my way through The Shield.
Im up to second episode of season 5 and Ive loved every episode so far.
Not sure whether it counts as a TV show or not (technically a YouTube Series... But it has it's own first season DVD. Booyah.), but I've been watching Marble Hornets a lot. With an overall budget of slightly more than $20, these guys have manages to keep me awake out of fear more often than a hell of a lot of recent 'horror' movies or shows.
Damien Sandow is my intellectual savior and he is welcome for such.
I mainly watch British period dramas with the occasional Brit mystery show thrown in these days. American TV is mostly rubbish.
Lark Rise To Candleford is the greatest show ever. Seriously. Seinfeld is now #2. I was more into LRTC than any show in my life. It had great acting, wonderful characters, tremendous music, awesome storylines and amazing settings. The only problem was it lasted just 4 seasons. The world is a much sadder place without the weekly antics of Miss Ruby Pratt and Thomas Brown
Downton Abbey isn't too far behind "Lark Rise." Can't wait to catch Season 3 here in the states come January. Free Bates!
Doc Martin, while not a true period drama, has its moments. Martin Clunes is great as the curmudgeonly title character. He totally owns that show now. The rest of the cast exists merely to put over the not-so-good doctor.
The two I'm currently watching are Call The Midwife and the remake of Upstairs, Downstairs. "Midwife" is like the WWE Rey Mysterio of British period dramas. You may not get any all time classics but you're going to get a solid outing every time out. They've build up some nice storylines going into the 2nd season.
"Upstairs, Downstairs" has been...well... very up-and-down. First series was great. Second series was a big letdown....until last night's amazing episode! I am not spewing forth hyperbole when I say that last nights installment just might have been the single greatest episode of any show in the history of television. Soooo much happened... but it was more in the Bill Watts or Paul Heyman sense than, say, WCW-era Vince Russo. It's like the first few episodes of this season existed solely to build up to last night's epic hour. And hey, no Alex Kingston either! That woman has never played a character I even remotely like. I hope she never comes back. Lady Persie from "Upstairs" is an amazing heel. Even the Wrestling God, JBL himself, would be in awe of Lady Persie's top notch heelness. She totally carries the show.
Also saw Part 1 of "Emma" last night. As always, it was fun to see my favorite British actors & actresses resurface in new roles. (I'm convinced Britain only has about 20 thespians because the same people are constantly popping up in all the shows I watch.) Last night I was all, "Hey, it's Sir Anthony from Downton!" "I think that girl was in Midsomer!.....or was it Inspector Lewis?" Or "Look, it's Sherlock Holmes from that awful American ripoff of the even more craptastic British version! Meh, well at least this show doesn't suck and try to be all hip and contemporary." Anyway, the girl who played the lead was fabulous. I'm anxiously awaiting parts 2 & 3 in the upcoming weeks.

Some of my favourite shows in the last few years were cancelled, The Sing-Off, Harry's Law and Ghost Whisperer. I gave Sons of Anarchy are try, but I didn't warm up to it. But dayums Katey Segal still looks mighty fine. Of the well known shows I still watch, Grey's Anatomy, Glee, X-Factor. Unfortunately Glee's become overly fruity than usual, and I don't like that.
Ive just finished watching all three seasons of "Justified" which is an American drama about a US Marshall and is set in a rural town. I highly recommend the show to anyone that hasnt seen it. One of the best shows I have seen in a very long time, the acting, storylines and scenery is all brilliant.
Im now onto the 2nd series of The Shield and am going to make my way through all 7 seasons.
I just discovered the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series. I'm watching back episodes to catch up to it.
Dexter. I'm in University accommodation and don't have the money to TV stations or a lisence so I have to watch things online, but every other day I watch Dexter on DVD. That's why I bought Dexter season 1-6.
I watched series 6 first as because I was at Uni when it aired on FX and sadly missed the series. So glad I got it on DVD though, probably the best season of Dexter yet (what a roller coaster ride) I really think Dexter is the best TV show going. I just finished watching Series 1 again and am almost half way through watching series 2 again. Such a great show, even episodes I've already seen are thrilling. Season 6 was something else though, amazingly well done series.
Violence Just Got Sexy
Finished watching season 4 of Breaking Bad and currently watching season 3 of The \Walking Dead...then back to Doctor Who in the new year.

I thought the first half of this series of Doctor Who was rather poor. Amy Pond's last episode was the only memorable episode and don't get me started on the opening for the series.
Violence Just Got Sexy
Pretty much...it will be interesting to see the Christmas episode. I'm gonna miss Amy...my daughter just loved Amy.

I hate the new Doctor Who. I can't even count how many times I rooted for these new Doctors; be it Eccleston, Tennant, or Smith, to get whacked. They all come off as a bunch of self-righteous, pompous prats to me. I'm not sure I can think of a more nauseating moment in all of television than when the Doctor plays soccer for the first time (brilliantly, of course. The Doctor just has to be oh-so-perfect, after all) while the other players chant his name. And the companions are no better. John Simm was a terrible Master.
Sherlock is another show I can't stand. Didn't care for it at first, but I thought maybe the big Moriarty reveal would save it. But alas, their Moriarty is even worse than John Simm's Master. That whole gang of Russell T. Davies, Stephen Moffatt and Mark Gatiss make some of the worst so-called "smart" TV ever. I have no idea how that dreck became so popular.
Jon Pertwee is where it's at! Pertwee= Best. Doctor. Ever. I cried when he regenerated. I would have cried harder had I known the abysmal Tom Baker was to come next. Pertwee's Doc/Jo Grant was the perfect Doctor/Companion pair. Never did catch Docs 5-8. I do like Peter Davison in other stuff though. Liked Docs 1 (Hartnell) and 2 (Troughton) a lot as well.

I picked up Jane Eyre and North & South (BBC) today in order to get my period drama fix before Downton Abbey Series 3 comes to the US. I'm about one-third of the way through JE. Toby Stephens as Mr. Rochester carries this production.

Currently Watching:
Season 3 of Family Guy
Season 6 of The Big Bang Theory
Season 8 of How I met Your Mother
The Walking Dead Season 3 is on Break right now but it will return in Feb I guess.
Finished Dexter Season and boy 7 It was freakin' Amazing. The Show has leaped into whole another level of awesome.
If everything in life had a point there would be no place to sit down.
A lot of my favorite shows are on break or I just don't have access to them at the moment such as Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad.
I'm still catching up on Doctor Who. I'm near the end of the tenth Doctor's run. Took some time for me to get used to a sci fi show that can also be so quirky, but I'm glad I did.
I stumbled upon a show on Netflix called Pretty Little Liars. When I saw the name and looked at the picture of four teenage girls having a tea party I thought "okay this can't be more not for me", but after reading the plot I gave it a chance...what an awesome show! It's a murder mystery that makes use of modern technology. I love how there's the two mysteries of who killed their friend and who is sending them these mysterious text messages.
I just found out that they made a new Voltron cartoon series 2 years ago! I'm watching from episode 1.
Oh I forgot to mention I've newfound fondness for Grey's Anatomy and currently I'm halfway through Season 5.
