Is it just me or is it way to soon for a one on one grudge match?

Can't they ease the feud in with a extreme rules tag match?
So they can demolish each others team mates then meet in a deadlock afterward, unable to use there FU/F5's after spending almost all their energy, with the win being from on of the team mates by cheating, making the result indecisive?
Just a thought, it would shed the spot light on some the new talent as well.

Unless John Cena & The Rock vs Lesnar & CM Punk would be a hell of a main event.

    Maybe next pay per view.

Nope never to early. I want Cena vs Lesnar now.

And they tried that with Cena & The Rock vs The Miz & R-Truth and it turned into a boring squash match.

So you don't like your foreplay then?

That's because they have no respect for The Miz or R-Truth.

its because the fans have no respect for them. They are not on the same level.

Brock got rushed into the UFC main event scene as soon as was possible, with great results. Why wouldnt WWE do the same? Brock Lesnar vs John Cena is a match that needs to happen asap

And I hope it stays a regular match and not a gimmick match.

They should save the gimmick match for at least for a couple of months, then ending the feud on a Last Man Standing, maybe on MITB, it would be great for SummerSlam, but I doubt it, since it would take too much time to build, and since WWE like to rush everything lately, I don't think they spend that much time with this Leasnar-Cena feud...

Im certain there will be a gimmick to this match. Isnt this ppv the one where everything has a gimmick? If so, I hope it is just a no DQ match. I want to see these two brawl but I want them to keep it in the ring. WWE have already shown their cards with Brock, he is going to be pushed heavily as a legitimate fighter. THis wont ring true to the fans if weapons or tables or ladders are used. This is a match up where the basics can be used. I would like them to treat this feud as more of a sporting contest than the standard mtches. I dont want chairshots and I dont want cages or anything like that. I want to see these two guys get in the ring and dazzle me with strength, speed and good chemistry.

Sheamus is in a dangerous spot for this match with Daniel Bryan. He has been booked heavly as a babyface yet he will be going into this match against a heel that gets stronger face pops than he does. Sheamus is almost being forced into a heel turn because people will not support him over Daniel Bryan. Management have just given him the tile, presumably for a strong babyface run. They are basically killing him by throwing him into a match with a guy that is more popular, he should have been fed a couple of weaker heels on ppv to consolidate his run, before having to face a guy that is more over than he is.

WWE were the ones who stuffed up, Sheamus doesnt need to turn heel but Brian looks more and more like he will have to turn tweener.

They give these guys 25 minutes then the crowd will be fine and they will enjoy a good match.

So you want this feud burnt out before it even gets off the ground?

Lesnar getting a match yes that is ok, him going against Cena first PPV out? Bad idea it should run won screwing the other then after it has boiled over to the battle. This is way to soon at least two PPV delay would have worked. You want Lesnar Vs Cena now? Well I want actual thought out ideas not lets see how fast we can get a buck. This Feud is already near half over.

It's a bad idea to have them wait. I don't want to wait until the end of summer for them to finally meet especially after the brawl on raw. WWE can't do a slow build, they proved that already with Cena & The Rock. The crowd is hot for this match and WWE should give it to them while they still want it.

At this stage they only have Brock for a year. Doing this now is the right call. WWE would be stupid not to milk every possible dollar out of Brock whilst they can, who knows what he will do in a years time. Plus, putting him straight into a match with Cena helps to carry the buzz created by The Rock vs Cena. People complained and complained when we got Cena doing the same thing every ppv, now we are getting him against new opponents at two consecutive ppvs. Thats what people have basically spent the last few years wishing for. The buzz from the Wrestlemania match is still there, once Cena finishes this program with Brock, he will be on a higher leve. It is a clear as day fact that The Rock has elevated Cena with their program and now Brock will capitalise on this and give us two ppvs in a row where Cena is in massive matches.

Nobody complained when Dana White catapulted Brock to the Main Event pretty much straight away.

Personally, I don't complain, I want to see that match, I was just thinking how long the feud could last, 'cause I would like to see a series of matches between Lesnar and Cena...

I don't think this will be Cena and Brock's last match. I could see this match going to a no contest after they both just beat the crap out of each other. I'm sure people would complain about that since it was a PPV and people want to see finishes, but it would be a way to draw out the feud some more. Then some where down the line they have a last man standing.

SO a theory of Ring Rust is just not factoring into anyone's opinion? I am the one who has to bring? Seriously? Brock has not been in the WWE ring in 8 years (according to WWE), which mean it has been 6-7 years since he was in a wrestling ring. Yes he has UFC training but a UFC match is way different than a wrestling match. So what we are going to get is ring rust Vs Cena and it will be bad that is why I say it is too soon.

He hit that f5 pretty well and a lot of his moves are moves he would be using in amaeture wrestling so I don't think he will have too much ring rust.

The ring rust could be the excuse to use the gimmick match, just let beat the hell out each other, it doesn't have to be a long match, maybe a brawl with no clear winner to get to the next episode of the feud...

So you're saying that Brock isn't training at all. Where's your proof?

Training maybe, training for pro wrestling doesn't mean he is ready to get in the ring and go against a headliner. Going against less than top dogs will not put him ready for a match like this. Lack of regular TV matches is not helping my opinion. Let's move on to better news.

I'm surprised nobody has talked about the ppv yet, this was even better than Wrestlemania in my opinion! It's hard to pick a favourite match out of the main events, they were all amazing in their own ways. Daniel Bryan and Sheamus put on the wrestling clinic we were all hoping for at mania. Jericho and Punk had arguably the best street fight since Foley and HHH. I didn't know what to expect out of Cena/Lesnar and it ended up being one of the most intense matches I've ever seen. Whatever respect I had for Cena beforehand has grown ten fold after that performance, the beating he took was hard to watch and I hope he isn't hurt too badly. Brock deserves a ton of credit too, especially for how well he recovered from that nasty botch over the top rope, and having the consummate professionalism to shake off the pain and redo the spot. He kept the lines blurred the entire time and he sold just enough of Cena's offence to where it seemed he wouldn't even budge at first, yet he still managed to put Cena over without losing any of his own credibility. Even the most jaded of wrestling fans have to give that match it's due.

Cena v Lesnar was brilliant. It felt more like a fight than a match, I loved it.

Jericho v Punk was great, Jericho has deifinitely still got it.

Only disappointment was Ryback. This guy looks so choreographed in the ring, I cant buy into him. I would have much rathered see Tensai smash someone.

All in all, much better ppv than Wrestlemania.

You know what's weird? You guys praised WM now you have turned around and bashed it by saying ER was "Much Better." I still need to watch to pass judgement
