Triple H Expected to Focus More on Tag Teams & Less on Divas, Note on Diva Recruiting

- Some people who have worked closely with Former WWE Heavyweight Champion Triple H believe that when he gets more power in WWE, we will see more focus on the tag team division, putting the Divas division on the back-burner even more.

It should be noted that Triple H has never been high on women's wrestling. While WWE has been adding new women to developmental as of late, most of the new recruits are men and not women. Since Laurinaitis has been out of power, the days of recruiting models from agencies seem to be over.

They can focus on the tag teams some more and then when one team really catches fire, they can save HHH from a beat-down and he can pedigree them as a thank you.

maybe Triple H indeed is the right guy to take WWE into the next generation.

When his ego isn't in the way he's not that horrible a guy. They just need to find a way to keep his ego in check. This is the guy that when the line for an event was taking a little too long bought pizza for some fans. So the guy isn't a total jerk. Someone just needs to follow him around and deflate his head when it gets too big.

Not to be off topic, but not to mention that this is the same guy that wants to bring back WARGAMES to the WWE, but his Father-in-Law declined it

Here's the thing, most know I'm a huge Tag Team wrestling fan. Hunter trained and wrestled during times when tag teams were featured. You can't have a set of tag team championships mean something if teams don't come out and stake their claims they WANT these titles. I liked where WWE was going with The Prime Time Playas and AW, but the over exaggerated claims AW made about "being the greatest team" um, whoa dude. Don't do that until your team accomplishes something for more than 2 seconds. This is where managers can get into trouble, especially when the team sure as hell wasn't delivering in matches. There hasn't truly been a team to hit the scene that could that since The Road Warriors. You can slowly see WWE trying to put together a tag team division again. You have got to get your champions out front and center cutting promos as well. Make your champions and challengers visible again. You can't drum up interest if the only teams you put together are main event guys thrown together for one night only matches. You do that every once in a great while to steal some shows. You want a team to build you division around, you get off your duff and approach Jay and Mark Briscoe as soon as possible.

You can feature women, but damn it get some that aren't full of silicone, painted up, bikini models. I'm not saying don't have that, but is that the message you want to send to the girls that attend shows??? Show me some girls who are different. Give me MsChif and Sara Del Rey. When I've watched those girls work, I forget it's a "women's" match and realize I'm watching good wrestling, no matter what the gender.

The way the women's division has been used for the past six years is downright shameful. If they don't want to put time into featuring them then i'd rather have them just not feature them than do what they're doing now.
Anyway, I'm glad Triple H wants to put time into tag teams. So far he's doing fine with talent, by not hiring models and bodybuilders, and actually focusing on hiring wrestlers.

I remember news surfacing of WWE being interested in putting more thought into their tag team division last year. I am sure there have been countless other times when it's been said too. I like tag team wrestling but I won't get too giddy about this news, WWE seem content to blow hot air about re-establishing the Tag Team division but have very little intention to actually do it.

Now the Raw is 3 hours, they really have time for both tag-team and women's wrestling. Of course, they continue to show only the bigger names most of the time. It is time for them to utilize those 3 hours.
