Hulk Hogan's best friend, Bubba the Love Sponge, not only secretly videotaped Hulk having sex -- he bragged afterwards that the tape was a goldmine that could be the key to Bubba's retirement.

TMZ has seen the last few minutes of Hulk's leaked sex tape -- in which he bangs Bubba's wife Heather Clem. It's very clear -- Bubba was in on it. Moments after the deed is done and Hulk leaves, Bubba says to his wife ... "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage."

His wife shoots back, "You'd never do that." Bubba then tries to recover, saying, "I wouldn't do that, you'd be the biggest rat, you'd be dead."

The revelation is interesting ... considering Hulk went on the Howard Stern show TODAY and said he and Bubba are still good friends -- and sounded confident Bubba was NOT the culprit.

There's more, TMZ just broke the story ... Hulk is filing a criminal police report in FL and trying to HUNT DOWN whoever leaked the tape -- claiming he was filmed illegally.

TNA star Hulk Hogan filed an official police report on Tuesday to to track down who leaked a tape of him having sex with Bubba the Love Sponge's ex-wife. The Clearwater Police Department will begin a formal investigation.

Gawker, the website streaming the tape have yet to remove it. TMZ reported yesterday that Bubba the Love Spinge is behind the tape.

Exactly. Hogan is completely delusional and still living in this world where he is credible and still has dignity. Unfortunately, he lost it all. His personal life, as Razor pointed out, has burned to the ground long ago. He seems to have befriended and married and raised some complete loser people who want to eat off of any bit of fame Hogan has no matter the cost to Hogan himself. Sad but true. He should bite the bullet and work out a deal with Vivid or something so he can get a nice chunk of change for the tape. I know a lot of it will go to Linda, but it's better than getting nothing for it. We all know it will eventually come out regardless.

And as for Bubba, he is just a terrible person. Always has been. I never thought he would "turn" on Hogan like this, but it's Bubba so I could never fully put it past him. Hogan needs to open his eyes to the real world and stop being so naive.

This is the maddest thing I have ever read on OWW. Man, if Bubba really did this he is some kind of scum bag, filming his friend having sex to make money, money he doesn't by any means need, with all that Hogan's done for him.

And how on earth did Hogan end up sleeping with Bubba's wife? Did Bubba say "Hey Hulk, wanna shag my wife?" or did Hogan pursue her and did she tell Bubba who said sure so he could film it? I mean the story is mad enough as it is but then you this thrown in!

But yeah, unless I actually hear/see this tape for myself (actually just make that the end, I don't really want to watch Hulk going wild) I'm going to take this with atleast a pinch of salt. Hell, if Bubba personally told me it's all true, and Hogan and I saw the tape I would still struggle to comprehend it. It would result in more questions than answers, because this... is just freaking insane.

No matter what though, Sponge is a scumbag. This would just prove he's a special kind of scumbag, a truly rotten and disgusting human being.

While Bubba “The Love” Sponge was revealed as the man behind the Hulk Hogan sex tape, the person who actually leaked it to the media wasn’t him, but a disgruntlet former employee of Bubba according to RadarOnline.com. The whole thing apparently started when Bubba departed his Sirius XM Radio show and left without paying his staff. The staff knew about the sex tape as he shared it with them and one of them apparently decided it was payback time for Bubba for leaving them without money. “Even though Bubba knew how much the Hulk sex tape would be worth, he didn’t stab his friend in the back and he’s not the one who released it,” RadarOnline’s source said. The website also adds that Hogan knew about the sex tape “for years” and “even had the ability to stop the sale last year.” The same source that Hogan acting all shocked at the release of the tape “is crap.” The source adds that when the tape was made aware to him three years ago, Hogan was blindsided, but he has been aware of it this whole time. “Bubba didn’t secure the tape properly and showed it to a bunch of people,” the source says. “And that’s why they’re all in this mess now.” The same source also says that Hogan’s PR people didn’t act on stopping the sale as they deemed it would give publicity to Hulk.

Actually they shouldn't have made ties with him in the first place. But Dixie has to prove she will stand by her decisions despite the fact that it hurts her or her company.
