Why does Show have a title again ? What's the point ? Have things become this desperate ?

I think Show needed the title. His last reign was pointless, but this one is important, Show's being booked as an unstoppable Giant, not only that this new Big Show wants to be a world champion. To make Big Show a monster heel to the degree they did and not make him world champion would look stupid, if he's as unstoppable as they make him out to be there'd be no stopping him getting the title.

Ok so they wanna end Ryback's streak and have Cena win the belt while Punk loses but doesn't lose at the same time?

I think Team Ziggler looks more impressive with Barrett & Ziggler compared with Punk & Miz, just wonder who the 5th member of the team is going to be, would be good if it was someone returning or someone competely new.

That or they want Punk to retain while not damaging Ryback's aura much more.

Picture Ryback brutalizing Cena, then Punk throws Ryback out of the ring and covers Cena for the three. You keep Punk as Champion, thus pretty much making his reign last an entire year. Ryback continues to look strong as he has yet to be pinned clearly, HIAC notwithstanding. Cena, well, he's been built up so much throughout the years that this loss won't hurt him at all.

I think is the only thing that is going to happen unless Cena's ego gets in the way and they either end the title reign with Cena winning or have Punk retain by pinning Ryback.

I do see Punk picking Cena's bones after Ryback's done the damage.

Afterwards I see a different direction (and this probably will never happen, but here's my scenario and it involves Brad Maddox)

In the months leading up to Wrestlemania reveal that Vince is right in that Maddox is working with someone but, its not Punk or even Heyman, its Cena. Reveal that Cena and AJ are having an affair as he did it to try and gain power (ala a certain son-in-law, whoever could that be) he felt threatened at losing his top spot to Ryback and feeling if he won the title Cena could never beat him conspired with AJ, she appointed Maddox the referee she hired in the first place to ensure Ryback didn't leave the Hell in the Cell with the title. You now have fresh heels in Cena & AJ (she worked very well as a heel down in FCW) Rock ends Punk's reign at the Rumble, setting up the re-match from last year's Mania this time with a heel Cena

Have Cena beat Rock for the title (I don't like it but, its obvious thats why they're putting the belt on Rock just to give Cena his win back. I'm going to use it to build toward the future) As Cena is celebrating Ryback comes out and stares Cena down to end Mania. For the next 6 months have Cena & AJ throw roadblock after roadblock in front of Ryback as he goes through everyone including some 30-40 minute matches until at Hell in a Cell, one year after the original plot, Ryback decimates Cena and wins the title.

(Like I said it probably will never happen, but it was fun booking it)

WWE won't even remember about Maddox in a year, heck it'll be swept under the rug by the Royal Rumble.

You know I'm going to totally disagree with Macho Man, I've seen plenty of Maddox matches in FCW, and he has something special, not the finished acticle but one for the future.

Am I the only one thinking the main event is lazy booking? It's not so much the match but the timing. WWE's biggest PPVs are Summerslam, Survivor Series, Rumble and Mainia. Those are the major ones, the first three are like mini wrestlemainias. Summerslam was the last major PPV, the main event to that was Punk/Show/Cena, here we are at the next major PPV and it's an almost identical match to the last. Shouldn't each of had a huge main event? Not pretty much the same one. Good thing Royal Rumble's main event won't be another Cena/Punk triple threat match... oh wait, who says it won't be, they could easily make it Rock vs Punk vs Cena, now if that happens that really would be a disgrace, three out of four of the big PPV's having an almost identical main event.

It's been lazy booking for quite some time at the moment other then Ryback no one else is being pushed in singles competition that is not already a top star.

My money is on that The Miz or Brock Leasnar will come in and take out Ryback. CM Punk will get the pin on Cena. Cena is the only one that can take the loss and not get hurtled down to the mid cards.
The Miz has to have something big to do with this PPV or I think he does if he is on the poster for it. But Leasnar could have something to do with it since Paul Heyman is Punks manager. This would lead up for Ryback taking on one of them in a big grudge match on the next PPV. It will leave the Cena, Punk, and Rock thing to be dealt with, with out affecting Ryback.
    But I could be wrong.

Don't really see why they would make The Miz the fifth man . Where would it fit into angle . Hope it's not . Think that would make the whole thing ridiculous . I'm still thinking Foley himself . Think it would be a great idea . They need to do something to gain more interest . As far as I can see its just same old , same old . Cena and Punk again ......yawn . Ryback in the main event changes things a bit I guess , but I think it's still too early to give the guy the belt . And I don't think people wanna see Ryback v Rock ? Most people wanna see the Great One and Punk . They could give Ryback the belt briefly and have Punk win it back shortly afterwards . But i think its better for Ryback's career if he gets a good run again , gets a title shot and is giving a good long reign . Otherwise it's all been pointless . Best for Ryback if he lets the dust settle , wait til the Rock thing is done and prove he can hold the company's main title and star in main events .

Do you see this week Smackdown where after Miz lost to Kofi again, he put his hand out and got a dropkick instead, its just reminds me of the John Cena face turn where he joined a face team, and he was basically considered a heel at the time. Lets wait and see, if I'm crazy or I'm just that smart

With Barrett on Team Ziggler I see the faces reaching out to another Englishman, I'm guessing William Regal

I agree with chaoskid. I have had a funny feeling it will be Miz but as a screw job to team Foley set up by the Miz, Heyman and Punk originally.
