I agree with Angle in terms of Dougie.

TNA Impact Wrestling star Kurt Angle recently told the U.K. Sun that he feels that TNA has dropped the ball with the former British Invasion stablemates Douglas Williams and Brutus Magnus:
"I think that TNA as a whole might have dropped the ball a little bit with Doug Williams and Magnus, when you look at the talent they have. They are starting to use Magnus and I believe they have big plans for him. But the reason I thought they might have dropped the ball is because he was so young when he started. They might have thought ‘he’s just a baby, we can wait,’ but four years later he’s still only 25."
The thing with Magnus is that the guy has tons of potential, he's well spoken, has taken every gimmick he's had (no matter how bad) and made it work, his in ring work is good and getting better and he can handle the mic, plus he's got some solid charisma, a good look and his look allows him to go several different ways character wise. TNA should be looking at him and thinking "okay, obviously he's not there yet but this guy could be a huge asset someday, how do we train him up to be great." There pushing him now but for so long they were just finding things for him to do rather than investing in him. If I were booking I'd have kept British Invasion together longer, because they worked well together and they got over easily and when they split they had nothing so they sadly just went to waste. Then I'd of had Doug Williams wrestle in the X Division and TV title picture, showing off his in ring skills, as for Magnus I'd have him fued with veterans, guys like Angle and Sting. He could have a fairly even fued with say AJ (trade wins) with AJ being more dominant, he could lose to guys like Angle with out looking weak. Working with the top names would help him get better as well as give him exposure. I'd even give him small parts in the top angles, something so that he doesn't play a major part but he gets some experience, some exposure and a taste of what could be in his future.
As for Williams I really don't even know where he is right now. They pushed him pretty strongly a while ago but they've completley dropped the ball now. They should have made (kept him) him a major part of the TV title picture, I swear that belt was made for him. It's a shame because Doug Williams really could be like the William Regal of his generation. If they booked Doug strongly he could really get guys over by losing to them and you know he'd make them look good, but for that to work he needs to be booked strong enough so that should someone beat him it's impressive. There's plenty of things they could do with him they just need to use him.

Magnus was brilliant in London Brawling. They should've kept him in that gimmick.
Dougy's a trainer at OVW.
Shame Wolf/McGuiness had to retire, London Brawling were brilliant

TNA has dropped the ball with a ton of guys that potential. I don't hate the company. My beef with them is that the wrong people have always managed to company. They seemed to be more concerned with pushing their own agenda rather than push the business forward. The same can be said of WWE. However, TNA is still relatively young and the more younger guys get pushed out of the way the more they hurt themselves. I'd love for TNA to be more or of a competitor to WWE, but it won't happen as long as those in charge, including Dixie Carter, continue to mismanage the company.
