What if Maven defeated Triple H to win the World title?

What if Maven was booked to win the World Title from Triple H? The crowd was behind him. He had Jericho and Benoit in his corner. What would have happened if Maven did win the title from Triple H in 2004?

I guess he would have been even more of a transitional champion that Orton. I could see him winning at a PPV and losing it back to HHH, the next night. He'd of lasted three weeks as champ at the most if they rushed into a reign like that in my opinion.

Personally think that would have put the nail in the coffin for WWF/E at that time. Don't get me wrong, Maven had potentially to be a fairly decent mid card champion (IC, cruiser or tag) but not as a Heavyweight champion. I think that would have also hurt Trips as a valid Heavyweight champion for years to come.

I think if it happened we could've had a breath of fresh air Maven had been in the company for 2 years I think for a couple of months he could've been good for the company just to see how he would go if it didn't work out then Hunter can win it back.
