Default Raw Thread (November 19, 2012)

WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight's show:

    * Will we find out why Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns attacked Ryback?

    * What will John Cena do next in his quest to get back on top?

    * After being screwed at Hell In a Cell and Survivor Series, is Ryback about to snap?

    * Is tonight the beginning of a dominant run for Dolph Ziggler?

    * Will AJ Lee retaliate for being attacked by Tamina Snuka?

So you build up the tag team division.

Then you feed one of the only legit teams to Khali, that makes sense (yeah right)

Paul Heyman's promo hit the nail right on the head we are always clamouring for a return to the attitude era but when something even close to the attitude era we complain about it, I thought the whole promo was great but that part in particular really stuck with me.

I can't help but wonder if there is more to those promo's against Stone Cold as he is still being mentioned after WWE 13 has been released I'm clinging to the hope of Austin vs Punk at Wrestlemania.

I just noticed WWE copies TNA again with a knee injury angle.

So where did TNA copy it from then probably from a WWE WCW or ECW angle you can bring up the copying stuff all you want fact is every wrestling company has copied from someone else.

You wouldn't know, because you don't watch TNA, because if you did, you'd know that they did the knee angle just the previous week.

I don't think it's fair to say WWE is copying any company just because of a knee injury . This is pro wrestling , there's knee injuries all the time ....as well as back injuries leg injuries and everything else. Next we'll be saying , TNA is copying WWE because that wrestler hit a powerbomb and so did so and so in TNA the week before...or ... That guy used a small package to get the win , they copied that from TNA because xyz used that move last week in their show . Gotta be realistic .

Having said that , when have WWE ever been shy of copying other companies ? For how many years did they copy ECW and WCW ? Remember Shane McMachon going coast to coast ? RVDs move from ECW. Foley thrown offthe cage ? ECW ! DeGeneration X ? NWO , right . And you think TNA have never copied anything WWE have done ? Ha ...yea right .....

Don't think it's a big deal . And nothing was a cheaper imitation as much as Renegade was when he debuted in WCW . Happens all the time .....

the best part of the night by a mile was the PTP on commentary, Titus O'Neil should do the commentary full-time, he was great.
also Cena getting put through the toilet cubicles was good too

shame Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns didn't do much other than attack Ryback again, i was hoping they'd do something more.

Though I prefer titles to be swapped on PPV shows.... the IC champion often loses yet retains the title on RAW epsiodes?
    Don't understand that logic

I think it's the point of the secondary titles, isn't it? Give upper-midcarders a chance, I could be wrong.. But I rather see those titles be defended on Raw or any other TV show for that matter, and save the World title defenses for PPV.. Of course, I like to see the Intercontinental and US title getting PPV time...

IMO Raw was good this week, I just want to see what is the deal with Ambrose, Rollings and Kruger (did I write it OK)...

It's fair if the copying is being done within weeks or months of it being done by TNA doing it first.

Even when we go back to say the 80s/early 90s where titles were not swapped around very often.... the IC champion would still be defending his title on Television and house shows and getting the victory... draw... or if they did lose it was by DQ/Count Out if the bookers wnated to retain the title.
Even the Honky Tonk Man..... the longest (and cheapest) IC champion... he would lose his matches by DQ or Count out to the likes of Jake Roberts or Brutus Beefcake.... but he didn't lose by a clean pinfall. If he had ..... he would have lost the title at the time.

For me it devalues the titles even more... having the champion lose matches cleanly by pinfall yet keep the title.
