Brief History
The World of Professional Wrestling was once a much larger place. Your major companies in North America were WCW/NWA and WWE. Over to the East the major companies NOAH, AJPW, and NJPW ruled the jungle. Then as years went by two men stood out in their respective continents as the leaders of the pack. In North America, Vince McMahon ate up all the other promotions and ruled the America’s as World Wrestling Entertainment. In Japan, Antonio Inoki who owned NJPW, combined all Japanese promotions into simply Asia Supreme Wrestling.
Years later McMahon and Inoki agreed to do some cross promotional work. For one night only there was a joint show in the UK between both promotions. The main event was intended to be a fun, clean match between six of the top wrestlers from North America and Asia, but as always things got out of hand. Inoki felt that Vince double crossed him by sending out a masked man to screw team Inoki. McMahon swore it wasn’t him and he would get to the bottom of it.
Inoki though did not believe Vince and did the unthinkable by stealing three of Vince’s biggest superstars, Hulk Hogan and The Road Warriors. This was clearly a breach of the agreement they made years earlier NOT to sign people from different continents. Vince actually showed up in Tokyo one night to speak with Inoki, Hogan and The Road Warriors, but in the process Japan’s most evil duo Toshiaki Kawada and Akira Taue The Holy Demon Army attacked the CEO of WWE. Inoki swore after the show that he did not condone this, but McMahon saw this as and the Hogan/LOD signings as acts of war and officially the battle between World Wrestling Entertainment and Asia Supreme Wrestling began. Vince’s men began showing up in Japan looking to start fights. Inoki’s men began showing up on WWE TV looking to avenge Asian honor.
Tonight is the night we settle the score. Three major belts will be unified tonight and the winning companies get to keep the championships. In other contests ASW's finest will do battle with
East vs. West Warfare
Opener
ASW Super Junior Champion vs. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Unification Match
Ultimo Dragon (ASW) vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. (WWE)
Dragon and Rey had a fast paced back and forth contest. Rey picked up the first victory of the night for Team WWE when he countered a Dragon Bomb into a hurricanrana that sent Ultimo onto the second rope. Rey hit the 619 + West Coast Pop combination for the victory.
Winner via Pinfall: Rey Mysterio Jr.
-----
Eddie Guerrero (WWE) vs. Takeshi Morishima (ASW)
Eddie Guerrero brought everything he had here, but it just wasn’t enough. The 320 lb beast from the East took nearly 15 minutes of punishment to his knee. Guerrero was almost able to sink this ship, but to no avail as Morishima hit the mother of all Lariat’s and Backdrop Suplex for the win.
Winner via Pinfall: Takeshi Morishima
-----
Jushin Liger (ASW) vs. Bret Hart (WWE)
Much like Flair vs. Kobashi, this was another dream match we never thought would be possible. It was clear from the opening bell all the way to finish that these men had an enormous amount of respect for eachother, but this was all about pride for the companies they worked for and countries they grew up in.
The finish came when Liger attempted to set up Hart for the Liger Bomb, only to find himself on the mat being put in the Sharpshooter, leaving himself no choice but to tap out.
Winner via Submission: Bret Hart
After the match was over none other than
THE OUTSIDERS Kevin Nash and Scott Hall appeared in the front row. They mockingly applauded Bret Hart. As Liger was leaving the ring, Nash and Hall glanced over at him and threw up the nWo Wolf Ears taunt. Liger seemed to have no idea what Nash was doing there and continued to walk up the ramp.

#1 contenders match for the WORLD Tag Team Championships
Ladder Match
Road Warriors (ASW) vs. The Hardy Boyz (WWE)
On a different night, perhaps in a different match, Road Warriors would dominate their way to a victory. In the Hardyz signature matchup, with WWE pride on the line, the Hardy Brothers gave up their lives to come out of this one victorious. The finish was as innovative as they come.
Road Warrior Animal had Matt Hardy up on his shoulders for Hawk to clothesline off the top rope with a Doomsday Device. Only there was a ladder set up near ringside. Jeff Hardy had been taken out earlier, but now revived, manage to climb the ladder and catch Hawk in mid-air with a missile dropkick!
The fans chanted “Holy Sh*T” while Matt Hardy put Animal down with a Twist of Fate and set up the ladder to climb to victory.
Winners: The Hardy Boyz
-----
Kenta Kobashi (ASW) vs. Ric Flair (WWE)
This is a dream match that the wrestling world hadn’t ever seen to this point. No two men had made the chop more of a famous move then Flair and Kenta Kobashi.
Suffice to say they chopped the living daylights out of each-other. Their chests were a deep shade of red that quite frankly I have never seen before.
The match came to an end when Kobashi hit the Orange Crush on Ric Flair
Winner via pinfall: Kenta Kobashi

ASW vs. WWE Tag Team Championship Unification Match
Holy Demon Army (Akira Taue and Toshiaki Kawada) vs. Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson)
The Outsiders were still in the front row, heckling both teams. Still the Holy Demon Army and RnR express were more concerned with themselves in the ring then they were with anything happening outside. Holy Demon Army isolated Robert Gibson for the first half of the match, only for him to tag Morton in. After RnR ran wild on the HDA for some time, finally Taue and Kawada took control of the match back and finished them off with a Powerbomb/Nodowa Otoshi Combination
Winners via Pinfall: Akira Taue and Toshiaki Kawada

ASW vs. WWE World Championship Unification Match
Hulk Hogan (ASW) vs. Bill Goldberg (WWE)
The finish of this match came when Hogan dodged Goldberg's spear. Unfortunately the ref ate that spear and that was the opening for someone to make a surprise appearance. We did not know who this someone was, but we remembered his mask. Someone wearing the same mask that the man who interfered in the very first Inoki vs. McMahon tag team match and started this entire war hopped the rail and stood at ringside. Hogan and Goldberg both turned their attention to this masked man and challenged him to enter the ring. Just then from the other side entered The Outsiders, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash who jumped Bill Goldberg and began pummeling him. With The Outsiders beating Bill Goldberg in one corner of the ring and the Masked Men making his way in from the other side, Hogan was at a loss which way to go. With the damage done, The Outsiders dropped down to ringside. The Masked Man stood in front of Hogan, but instead of engaging in a fight, handed him a T-Shirt and left back through the crowd. It was folded up so no one could quite make out what was on the shirt.
Hogan looked down at his opponent Bill Goldberg who was just taken out by The Outsiders…with all the gold on the line this was an opportunity just too good to pass up. Much to the chagrin of the audience he simply dropped to the mat and waited for the referee to make the three count. It took what seemed like ages as the referee was still recovering from the Spear, but it happened and Hogan had officially beaten the WWE Champion to unify both title belts.
Winner via pinfall: Hulk Hogan
The Outsiders resurfaced in the ring while Hogan put the shirt on. Ladies and gentleman…THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER. Hogan was sporting an NWO t-shirt!
“You know something brothers…For the last year I’ve been running back and forth from The United States to Japan. WWE to ASW….McMahon to Inoki, and the buck stops here dudes! I’m no puppet. I’m not just some circus attraction you can throw some money at and expect me to dance. And all of you…yeah my so called fans… whether you are from North America or Asia…doesn’t matter you are all the same. You Americans out there booed me because I “turned my back on the great United States.” Then you fans in Japan who should be kissing the ground I walk on for moving to that dump of a country don’t even appreciate me. I’ve had fans tell me that I’m not a “real” wrestler like Kenta Kobashi. I don’t wrestling “Strong Style.” Screw Kenta Kobashi, brother! And screw Strong Style! I am the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World!
I didn’t jump from WWE to ASW for the money or fame. No… this was a calculated decision that I had made months before. I made the jump in order to heat the war. The war that the nWo started only nobody realized it at the time. Hey that masked man who just handed me this t-shirt I am wearing…was the same guy who interfered during the big six man in The UK. This is a war that the four of us have been planning for years. Whether you all realize it or not, we are the ones pulling the strings.
As far as who I represent? What colors is the Hulkster gonna wear? No more red, white, and blue. No more red and white. You can shove the red and yellow! From now it’s Black and White. This is the new World order of wrestling brothers…and unlike like last time…we will finish the job and take over the entire industry worldwide!”
With that infamous speech we went off the air. The nWo had returned to professional wrestling. They are now in the possession of the most prized championship in the entire world. They had laid all their cards on the table, except for one. One question remained…who is the fourth guy?
