Default WWE FCW/NXT Wrestler Arrested For Assault on Police Officer, Profile Removed

    Source: LordsofPain.net

Thomas Latimer, who appears as Kenneth Cameron for WWE's developmental promotion, NXT, was arrested late Thanksgiving Eve in St. Petersburg, Florida, on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication. He taken into custody to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and released on $5,100 bail, with the battery charge costing $5,000 and the disorderly intoxication charge costing $100.

This is not Latimer's first run-in with the law. He was arrested on January 29, 2011 in Hillsbourgh, Florida, on charges of driving under the influence.

It would appear that WWE cut ties with Latimer following his arrest. His profile has been removed from the roster page of the developmental promotion's official website, fcwwrestling.info.

Latimer, who is 26-years-old and hails from Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, joined WWE two years ago. He has been tag teaming with Conor O'Brian as of late, with the duo known as The Ascension.

That's a shame. Cameron and O'Brian were an awesome team and it was a lock that they were to be called to the main roster soon. Who knows what's next now.

totally agree with Metfan, they were an awesome team, they had that special quality and no question in my mind they were heading to the main roster. I would be mad as hell if I was O'Brian, I think he lost his shot at the main roster now.

This is truly a tragedy if you ask me. Not only did he ended his would-be glorious career, he even ended it for Connor. Damn! Ascension were THE team I was looking for in the future. This news really hurt me. I was so high on the Ascension. I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago that Ascension were ready for the main roster and officials were pretty high on them. This is such a shame. They could have been a great team on the roster. I really feel for Connor now.

    Truly disappointed now.

Oh! He was one of the regular looking guys in Ascension! Oh well, no big loss there. I think the guy might've taken his gimmick too seriously lol.

Can you define 'regular looking' guy for me? I don't get it. Almost everyone coming out of FCW or NXT is a regular looking guy for you.

That just show the incapacity of the WWE to protect its wrestlers from their own bad behaviors. When Latimer was arrested back in january 2011, he should have been put on notice and sent to a Drugs and Alchool rehab center from the get go.

The sad part is that Latimer cost himself and more importantly costed Conor's chances to make it to the main roster and that pisses me off.

They are of regular looks and build. That's what I get when you take away the theatrics of the flash entrance and the scary music.

They were good wrestlers too, Shocky. Especially Kenneth. Chaos will agree that Kenneth actually changed his attitude in the ring in the last 2-3 matches. He became more aggressive, and went further into his gimmick. He was the better member of the team.

I watched all of their matches, and I wasn't impressed. It was probably the FCW style that reuiqres all of them to have the same build and wrestle the same style. The fact that they were built like PG13 and had such an aggressive style that should be reserved for other builds is terrible booking. ANyone can be a great wrestler, but it really comes down to how that wrestling ability is shown, and the way it was shown through the Ascension gimmick was rubbish.

dont you love when I'm put into this arguement, lol, However RoughRoad is correct, there team work has never been better, they have become masters of cutting down the ring, and quick tags, you just have to watch the fued with USO's. I myself was really looking forward for this tag team to be promoted to the main roster, its will now be put down as a real lost of an opportunity, because I've followed the Ascension when they were orginally a 4 person team, with Raquel Diaz and Epico.

One of the main criticisms I've heard about FCW is that the training that once made wrestlers individuals was abandoned when they left OVW. Maybe this is where my dislike of the FCW/NXT style comes from.

You mean your dislike for everything WWE, right? It's ok, you can admit it.

You're really way off though. The team had a great entrance and both were very good in the ring. They only got better and better, as young talent is supposed to. You choose not to like them based on who they work for and you can admit it. That much is obvious when everyone else seemed to enjoy their work.

Admit it? Why don't you take a look at my WWE posts from the last 2 years to see that I dislike it. I don't sugarcoat. Yay for me if I don't believe in this 'one wrestling style fits all' ideology in NXT.

I think everyone knows that Shockage hates anything related to FCW/NXT, he can run it down, and diss the product and the wrestlers, the matches and everything about it, and to be honest thats ok because thats if own opinion,it also the fact thats I think the total oppostie to Shockage, and probably always will

If you're looking at giving a regular looking wrestler a regular sounding name, one way to go would be *blocks nose to sound nasal*, Kenneth Cameron.

It makes me wonder how more over would Doom have been if Ron Simmons & Butch Reed used pansy names as well.

Damnit. There goes one of my favourite teams, even if they only appeared on NXT thus far. Don't get me wrong, I understand the release, you can't assault a police officer and get away with it, but still.

    Damnit.
Damien Sandow is my intellectual savior and he is welcome for such.
