Default RVD or James Storm: Who is Least Deserving of A Push?

They both make me sick. One guy has the potential to be better than he already is, but his entire image no longer coincides with the company's image as TNA have become more than a southern based promotion. His move set isn't believable, he's apparently the Tennessee Cowboy, so then why doesn't he work more on his brawling and perfecting his punches (ala Jerry Lawler), and why is his finishing move a martial arts super kick when he's from the west? I think too many wins have been wasted on James Storm, and I'm glad his World Title shot went to Bobby Roode.

The other guy hasn't come to the realisation that he's not 20 something years old and can't reach certain heights anymore when he flies. Unlike other high flyer wrestlers who can either A) still fly as they age or, B) change their move set to a more believable ground based style to accommodate their aging body, this guy is crappy in ground attacks and he won't make the alterations or the necessary adjustment to lose weight (and his fat gut) to maintain what was once an amazing aerial attack. He's gone from looking less and less like Jean Claude to looking more and more like Steven Seagal after a meal at McDonalds. In the last couple of months he's taken the X-Division title off a young talent, won some unnecessary matches and most recently retained the title against Kenny King. This guy in no way should be able to demand this kind of status in the revolting, poor condition that he is in physically and he doesn't have the name value to continue to keep him on top. He is not Jeff Hardy.

So who is less deserving of the push, James Storm, or Rob Van Dam?

I gotta say RVD. I can't argue with your points about Storm but the guy delivers in the ring and on the mic.

RVD is past it, seems to half ass it and at times it almost felt like TNA were treating him as good as Vince treats Cena. RVD has had a huge amount of victories, look at his world title win he beat two men in one night. And ever since then he hasn't been far from the world title picture, apart from title matches and the B4G Series he hasn't lost a match. I've seen guys like Joe fed to RVD on Impact. Now when you consider the fact that RVD is past it and he's not really putting the effort in he gets treated far too well. He should be put in the tag division and get a younger wrestler over or something, at the very least have guys like Joe get clean victories over him.

If a 40 year old Bully Ray can get himself in shape and reinvent himself in the process, then RVD should be no exception. He's been having too much munchies after getting stoned.
