Hmmmmm, if Ziggler wins , does that mean he gets a shot via his MITB and his Wrestlemania match . He could cash in and beat Del Rio at the February PPV and then beat Rock or Punk at Wrestlemania . I think a Ziggler v Rock match would be awesome . If Ziggler wins it would make him super over . Plus , I think everyone wants to see one unified champion ....not two . Maybe Zigglers the man for it .

PWInsider reports that former WWE Intercontinental Champions Shelton Benjamin and Carlito are confirmed to make their returns at Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view in the 30-man main event.

Both talents are currently in Phoenix, Arizona and are scheduled for the Rumble.

Damn, was hoping it would be Leo Kruger to advance from NXT. He was one match away from it too. Hopefully he'll appear on the main roster soon or even in the week(s) after Wrestlemania.

I think this years Royal Rumble match has the potential to be one of the better Rumble matches of the last several years.

And Punk (who lost his title earlier) may get the win in the rumble match

with 18 men confirmed it means we have a few guys entering that are suprises we know Carlito and Sheltain Bengamin are in as well bringing it to 20 people, I wouldn't be suprised if Ric Flair is a suprise entrant we have some returns possibly in Christian and Mark Henry bringing it to 22 and then of course the loser of the heavyweight title and WWE title matches that's 24 possibly 25 if Ziggler decides to cash in (I still think he's cashing in at Wrestlemania)

leaving 5 spots open possibly one for Undertaker who if he comes in sets up a nice confrontation with Ryback possibly for a Wrestlemania match.

Personally I'm hoping Punk retains. Ryback wins the Rumble then beats Punk for the title at Mainia.

Ryback isn't ready for the WWE title just yet he needs at least 1 wrestlemania before he's ready a triple threat match between Punk, Rock and Cena would be better gets past the once in a life time thing it leaves Undertaker open to face Ryback or Sheamus.

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry is in Phoenix, Arizona and has been seen in the WWE Hotel on Saturday.

In a recent interview Henry noted he would probably be cleared to wrestle by the Rumble but believed it would be too late to return at the event. I guess we will have to wait until tonight.

i would love to see D-Bry win this years Rumble, but i know that's not going to happen any time soon. Ziggler winning would be good too, but i could see him getting screwed over yet again. as long as someone who hasn't won the Rumble before wins it, i'll be happy. hell, even if Ryberg won it this year, i'd take it over CENAWINSLOL happening or Sheamus winning again.

i hope Punk beats The Rock, although whatever happens the result of the match makes the result of Elimination Chamber obvious.

ADR will beat BEEG, pretty obvious, WWE wouldn't give ADR the title only to give it back to BEEG later in the month. maybe Ziggler will cash in the MITB after the match? i dunno, still hoping for Ziggler to win the Rumble, win the WWE title at Mania, then cash in and win the WHC, becoming the undisputed champion. not gonna happen in a million years, but a man can dream.

obviously pulling for Hell No to beat Rhodes Scholars, should be a good match.

hopefully Cesaro will beat Miz, would be pretty annoyed if Miz won.

and the inevitable Diva's match that will be squeezed in somewhere, i could not care less.

but still, tonight will be the first time i have ever watched the Royal Rumble live on the stream i use, pretty excited. i may have to stay up till 4am due to stupid UK timezones, and i will probably only get about 4 1/2 hours sleep before i have to get up for Uni in the morning, but it's worth it, dammit!
