Treble winner Steve Austins persona from the Attitude era takes on Ric Flair (at the end of his prime) from 1992
Remember this is not Ric Flair the old man version!

    Face off one on one.
    Who wins and why?

I went with Ric Flair based on who he is and the top notch list of whose who in the '92 Rumble that Flair outlasted. It's also a testament to Ric Flair being a timeless figure. Flair's wrestling style, psychology, mindset of wrestling is timeless, he could easily out think a guy whose mindset isn't timeless, whose mindset is focused more on opening a can of whoop ass and stomping a mud hole. Flair could easily outsmart that.

This is a tough one ..... but I think Austin could actually sneak this.
Losses never mattered that much to Flair in his prime... he would often ocme back and win a title back in a rematch.
However... even in his prime... Flair was suspectable to losses .... Ronnie Garvin anyone?
I would be more confident in Austin having a more invincible streak about him.

Flair works over Austins leg... with the Figure 4.... however Austin withstands the pressure.
Flair tries a dirty trick that backfires on himm and walks straight into a Stunner. 1..2...3!

If this was Ric from the late 80's it would be a different matter, because Ric in 92 was good but he wasn't still the great Ric of old, and yes he had an amazing Rumble but its didn't really fully spark as it could have. Austin was at his peak, before his neck injury, and Austin was tough dam tough, I think Austin would have taken his experience with Ric Flair in WCW into this match, and would be prepared for everything and anything, close call but Austin takes it
