They probably would've gotten scolded for a predictable outcome. I kind of like that they are committed to keeping Bully and Brooke's love for each other true because it makes us trust them and what they stand for.

I was thinking Bully and Brooke would have legally married and Bully tell Hogan that he owns her now and become an ass again. I guess that was too predictable as well.
True, but it's been done too many times, not just in wrestling too. Betrayal has been over glorified to the point where people have no entertainment boundaries which can make them bored quickly. It's a proven method to get stories to run along, but this gives us fresh perspective to know that these 2 characters that TNA have been trying to establish and get to a certain place wasn't done so diligently just to tear down. Fans need an establishment of trust in some characters.
Don't we have enoug faces for that?
Yeah, but TNA also have a mighty strong heel contingent. If betrayal at the alter wasn't done 10 times then a swerve between the couple or by the couple would've worked fine. But we also live in times where we need heroes, we need people who are examples for what's right, especially women!
By the way, how many members of Aces and Eights are there? They're multiplying like rabbits.
I posted a theory on the Aces and Eights thread that Taz has been using his Gut Check position to recruit members
That's not a bad idea actually. I like it.
They shouldn't be called Aces and 8's they should be called Former WWE rejects and jobbers. Who will be revealed to be another Aces and 8's member? Maven, Eugene, The Highlanders? Take your pick.

It was a wrestling wedding. Why was there ANY reason to expect anything other than the absolute fiasco they all turn out to be?
If you don't got it, get it! If you don't get it............figure it out!
lol @ Joseph Park saying 'kayfab' to Bully. It was good to hear Bully and co mention Paul Heyman briefly.
Kudos to TNA for the commitment they put into the wedding, the hype, the media interviews. I felt the wedding was believable because of the authenticity in the build up throughout the show, the fact there was actual footage of Bully's stag party, that his groomsmen were old friends of his, and that the entire transcript of the wedding ceremony wasn't at all scripted. The crowd also played an important part as their silence showed a sign of not just respect, but interest. It felt like a real wedding on a reality TV show. I teared up when Hulk finally showed up to walk Brooke down the aisle.
That felt like a wrestling wedding to be honest. I don't like them except for two. I loved the Test-Stephanie wedding for the comedy that unfolded with Triple H. I remember laughing when he told the, I guess minister, 'GOD BLESS YOU TOO!' The other one was Goldust and Aksana. That one was on NXT and everything was actually cool. We had Dusty Rhodes and Cody, Ted DiBiase and Maryse, Ted DiBiase Sr. and Agent Dickapopulous. Add that to Cole and Mathews hilarious commentary, it was awesome.
I agree...how do Mike Knox, Kurt Angle, Luke Gallows and Mickie James and a few others fall into "rejects"? Just because they had a falling out or just had nothing for them doesn't mean that they are rejects. I just don't get how people love them in the WWE but call them rejects in TNA?

I might throw Knox and Gallows into a reject category, simply because they never had anything going for them in the WWE but they wound up with TNA, probably because they worked for the WWE. Mickie was a mistake letting go and Angle truly jumped ship. I think McMahon was very upset when Angle signed with TNA.
The 'reject' line goes back to when TNA started. I mean, Ron Killings as the World Champion, at that stage in his career. No!
Um excuse me but if you read it properly I was referring to the Aces and 8's stable obviously Mickie James, Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle and others are not rejects. What exactly did Mike Knox and Luke Gallows accomplish in the WWE? Aces and 8's will end up being a stable of former WWE wrestlers who went nowhere.

Bully/Brooke had a serious focus to it like Macho and Liz. I like how the atmosphere was set for people to drawn to it, then once everyone was hooked, BAM! Taz reveals himself to be a traitor and the Aces & Eights run in and jump the bridal party. By that time, I think many remembered "oh crap, this is a wrestling angle after all, damn you Aces & Edights!". Hulk yelling at the women to run was a nice touch too. The weddings that were supposed to funny were ok, but this wedding was done much better and wasn't strategised so poorly like the ones that were made to make people laugh.
Obviously you didn't read my post correctly either. It didn't refer to anyone's post in particular....it's referring to how people are referring ex-WWE employees who sign with TNA. Yes, Knox and Gallows didn't get very far in WWE but don't blame them for that...that was creatives's fault for not finding them anything....much the way they have used Tensai....a monster for half a year and then a joke for the remainder of his WWE tenure.
The point was how people loved them in the WWE but hate and loathe them in TNA...and why? Just because they are looking for work and saw a chance at being part of something big that they were never given in the WWE?

Wolfie's right, just like Bully was right to pursue Hogan up to the 11th hour to walk Brooke down the aisle. A big organization with millions of dollars, 6 hours a week, 4 TV shows, their own creative department to supposedly cater to the talent, and they couldn't find anything good for Gallows and Knox. They repackage Brodus Clay, bring him in with a thunderous push and within months he's jobbing to the Big Show and he falls further down the card, and like Wolfie said, the same with Tensai.
I laughed also when Brooke's top came off, I laughed louder as Baldy and Burley forced her to watch as she stood there crying while covering her breasts.
