Default Why Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker Likely Won't Face Each Other Again

    http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/...-brock-lesnar/

No, it doesn't appear there's so much bad blood between the two that they can't compete against each other but maybe there is. The report, which states that the WWE has offered Lesnar a new deal also states that The Undertaker is hurting right now and that whoever he faces at WrestleMania will take a toll on him. Combine that with Lesnar who works a very physical style and that equals the two probably never facing off in a match again.

EDIT: Earlier reports indicated that The Undertaker had no interest in working with Ryback, which may also show that he needs to work a safe match at Mania.

This conflicts with a lot of reports saying he's in good shape and considering he just worked too pretty good gimmick match I would think that a match against Ryback or Lesnar would be a bit easier for him.

For a safe match for Undertaker would have to be someone that has been actively working and somewhat a seasoned wrestler....so...CM Punk? Kane? Bryan? oooooh! Maybe Wade Barrett? I would love to see Wade vs Undertaker....brawler/wrestler vs submission/brawler....classic!

I would say that this proves that Taker will work with Punk. Punk is pretty safe with other wrestlers while putting on a good match and Punk could brawl, which Taker probably needs to do to hide any issues of working a clean yet good match.

I don't want to see Taker destroy the momentum of another younger wrestler who has more to offer for the future of the wrestling business than 51 year old Taker.
It would do nothing for the career of Wade Barrett for example.... unless Taker is going to put someone over to end the streak.

It is gona be hard if Taker can't face a physical guy like Brock, Sheamus or Ryback.... or a guy he's already beaten at Mania (Triple H, Randy Orton)....
Aside from CM Punk... it would only be an up and coming midcarder.... who the fans would know has zero chance of winning

I really don't want to see Taker vs Brodus....even if Wade did lose...they could have it like the HHH, Brock...Shawn, Randy...by having him beat the hell out of Taker and then have Taker win by submission...it really wouldn't effect either man's status in the company. It would be nice to see Wade and Taker and nicer to see Wade end the streak...but again...wishful thinking.

Could it be that Taker doesn't compete at Wrestlemania. Maybe he is way to beat up . If he does , I'd love to see him go up against Punk . And I doubly love to see Punk beat him . Again, wishful thinking .

It appears that Taker wants to have a match at WrestleMania. It's more and more likely now that he'll face Punk.

    Sounds about right .

I'm guessing that means Punk's title reign is probably going to end at Rumble . No way Taker is in any shape to hold a title and also no way he is giving up that streak . So it certainly won't be a title match .

I'm gonna really look forward to the angles and the promos leading up to this match . Punk should be awesome on the mike against Taker . Wonder if the Shield will get involved . And I wonder what Wrestlemania lays in store for them ? I'm guessing it might be Ziggler v Rock , Taker v Punk , Sheamus v Orton . Where does that leave Cena ? Guess maybe not Ziggler v Rock . Cena v Rock II maybe . I'd much prefer to see Ziggler in the main event. Should we expect a Bryan v Kane match ? Or will this be the Shields first title opportunity . Reigns and Rollins v Bryan and Kane . Lots of possibilities i guess . Guess the Rey Mysterio v Sin Cara match is out the window .
