Major Change to TNA Lethal Lockdown Pay-Per-View

TNA Lockdown 2013 which will take place Sunday, March 10, 2013 from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will only feature a maximum of two matches contested inside a steel cage.

The pay-per-view which is known for its "all steel cage matches" theme is coming to an end with only the Lethal Lockdown match and TNA Championship inside the steel structure.

I liked the idea early on but I like this idea a lot. Tna keeps making the right changes the cages only being in the 2 main events only ads more to those matches. Undercard cage matches all though creative ideas were used to make them different like the x division escape match it still took a lot away from the main event hype.

While I thought the concept was good when I was a lot younger, the way it was presented anyway was horrible. Most of the matches do not need the cage and one common criticism I heard about one of the Lockdown events was that the wrestlers in the undercard barely used the cage. Why be in it at all?

Two cage matches for the two biggest matches is the best way to go.

If that means we don't get a caged X Division match it will displease me greatly.

All cage match PPVs are hit and miss. Recently they've had matches in the cage just for the sake of having it in the cage and they barley used it.

I'd like to see it return for Lockdown's anniversary though. The first Lockdown was awesome, all the matches were booked then put into a cage so you got crazy stuff like a tables match in a cage. That was awesome.
