    Source: WrestleView.com

Impactwrestling.com is featuring an official announcement for a new television deal for TNA Impact Wrestling in Germany on Sport1. A weekly one-hour highlight show will air every Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. starting on 3/6. The show will be replacing WWE Smackdown and WWE Bottom Line.

The announcement added, "There will also be a comprehensive video-on-demand offering, featuring full episodes of TNA IMPACT WRESTLING and TNA PPV events on the SPORT1.de website. Fans can catch the unabridged two-hour edition of TNA IMPACT WRESTLING, as well as TNA’s monthly three-hour-long special wrestling events. I want more of this, WWE needs a good up the ass.

I'm a little surprised Smackdown was canceled. I mean, it has more wrestling than Raw. I haven't seen Smackdown in a while but I'd of thought it was on more equal footing with TNA than Raw, quality wise.

Congrats to Dixie and the rest of TNA, this is a big win for them. Hope it's the first of many, replacing one of WWE's shows has to show their competition.

Now now, let's not draw conclusions. Yet.
If we can't protect Pro Wrestling, you can be damned well sure we'll avenge it!

This is a small win for Dixie and TNA. Long may it continue!

Rather than compete dircetly with WWE in the States... areas such as Europe and Australasia are starved of mainstream wrestling.
Even WCW used to sell out in Europe when they couldnt draw a dime in the States in 2000.
