Starting a New Online Radio Show

Hey folks, you're old pal PKPunk here. Yeah, haven't been here in a while, I know. There's a reason. I've been going to broadcasting school, and it's taken up pretty much all of my time, along with interning for my local FOX affiliate in the sports department (NOT FOX NEWS, THE NATIONAL CHANNEL). However, I've also been interning and working for an online radio station, and will son have my own show dedicated to wrestling on it.

It's going to be called "Shoulders to the Mat" with myself, Patrick Ketza, and Lamar Shedwick. Judging by the name, obviously, yes, it's going to be all wrestling. It debuts this wednesday 12PM CST and will be from 12-2 every week. The ONLY way to listen to it is on chicagolandsportsradio.com.

We're not just going to talk WWE and TNA, we're going to talk about any wrestling we can find. Just for our debut episode, we're going to have WWE, TNA, ROH coming to Chicago, AAW's Path of Redemption preview, and Resistance Pro's Among the Living review, so it's a packed show.

we've created a facebook page to try and get our name out there, which you can find here >> https://www.facebook.com/pages/Shoul...882208?fref=ts to update everyone about stories and what's coming up on the show. (we're already trying to set up interviews... guess who finds out first...). Our goal is to have 100 likes by the time our show starts on Wednesday.

We're just trying to get the name out there and try to build our following quickly (if you guys knew half of the stuff that went on with the LAST wrestling show on the station, you'd know my worries). So, if you guys want, help out an old friend, like our page, and tune in on Wednesday to our debut episode WITH MARIA!! ok, not really, but we DID try to get her on.

Thanks a lot, guys. The first show went off without any major hitches. And, for Mr. Tambourine Man, for right now, the full show will only be live, and we're exploring the possibilities of making podcasts. However, one major thing we may also do is edit the shows down and post the entire show to Itunes. But, for today''s show, it's live only.
